The Construction section provides a clear overview of various self-adhesive cover materials, such as our Sima-Floor-Tec with adhesive fleece backing or our Sima-Floor-Tec with adhesive film backing used specifically for covering stairs. Thanks to the special adhesive film, the fleece adheres perfectly to most subsurfaces. Our self-adhesive cover fleeces include over 8 different non-woven materials. The cover fleeces differ not only in their application but also in grammage. For example, our Sima Professional Fleece is not only self-adhesive but also extra thin, allowing it to fit perfectly under any door. Sima-High Protection is also self-adhesive; however, with a grammage of 350g/m², it is extremely durable, providing premium protection against mechanical damage.
Our attractive printed floor mats display the new safety regulations. They also keep your customer area clean and dry.

Our cover fleece Sima-Floor-Tec with adhesive film backing is DGUV-certified and complies with the applicable safety and health requirements in the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the certification process, our cover fleece Sima-Floor-Tec with adhesive film backing was tested according to the GS-IFA-B02 test principle and meets all required properties. What does that mean for you?
Floor coverings to protect flooring against soiling are indispensable when painting and renovating. Dangerous accidents can be caused by inadequately slip- and tear-resistant materials that can slide easily on subsurfaces, especially stairs. For example, ladders can slip causing employees to fall.
To counteract these dangers, the GS-IFA-B02 test principles were developed 8 years ago by the Trade Association of the Construction Industry (BG Bau) and the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (Institut für Arbeitsschutz der Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (IFA)) (1). The test procedure includes various criteria such as slip resistance, tensile strength and adhesive strength. During the test, the cover fleece may only shift minimally in both the wet and dry state, and no holes or tears may form in the non-woven material. A special ladder test is also carried out (2).
Certified cover fleeces provide increased work safety and are extremely durable.
